Business Analyst

Job Mission:

A business analyst supports market insight associates in querying data repositories and generating periodic reports.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Generate standard or custom reports summarizing business, financial, or economic data for review by executives, managers, clients, and other stakeholders
  • Synthesize current business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for action
  • Create business intelligence tools or systems, including the design of related databases, spreadsheets, or outputs
  • Manage timely flow of business intelligence information to the team
  • Analyze competitive market strategies through analysis of related products, markets, or share trends
  • Identify or monitor current and potential investments using business intelligence tools
  • Desk research and data analysis

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, Financial Management, or MBA
  • 1 to 3 years of professional experience
  • High proficiency in English
  • Sufficient skills in working with reporting software (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

    Financial Analyst

    Job Mission:

    The financial analyst provides accurate financial analysis and modelling of private equity investments in line with applicable techniques/methodologies.

    Duties & Responsibilities :

    • Support members of the deal teams, primarily but not exclusively through financial analysis.
    • Perform valuations on various private equity investments across industries and geographies while using accepted and relevant approaches and theories.
    • Report and present analysis and conclusions, including written reports and handling valuation queries.
    • Contribute to the design and enhancement of the financial models used to perform valuations.
    • Monitor fundamental economic, industrial, and corporate developments by broadening knowledge and experience, analysing information from financial publications and services, investment banking firms, government agencies, trade publications, company sources, or personal interviews.

      Business Analyst

      Job Mission:

      Supports Investment Associates in all projects and investment processes of private equity investment opportunities.

      Duties & Responsibilities :

      • Under the direction of a supervisor, assist with the daily management of operational functions of the project team, including preparation and minutes for standing meetings, reporting processes, information flow, and periodic project progress reports.
      • Under the direction of a supervisor, provide documentation support for requirements gathering, process analysis, gap analysis, and design of new functionality.
      • Conduct company-specific and industry-specific research, including business intelligence, strategic, and financial topics.
      • Support all aspects of the due diligence process in evaluating new and existing investments (financial, business analytics, commercial/market, legal, risk, regulatory, IT and HR, among others).
      • Prepare investment memorandum, presentations and all other materials required in the investment, fundraising and fund management processes.
      • Support the ongoing monitoring/management of portfolio companies.
      • Manage written communications between stakeholders and internal business units.

        Duties & Responsibilities:

        • Fundamental analysis of listed companies in a variety of industries.
        • Performing valuation analysis on a wide range of public entities within various industries using globally accepted relevant approaches and theory.
        • Assisting in preparing and presenting the results of our analysis in a clear and concise manner.

          Real Estate Analyst

          Job Mission:

          Supports Investment Associates in all projects and investment processes of real estate investment opportunities.

          Duties & Responsibilities :

          • Research and analyse data on sales, acquisitions, trends, and occupancy; develop administrative materials; create financial models and research reports.
          • Research and evaluate conditions in the commercial and/or residential real estate industry.
          • Provide financial analysis to support property financing, acquisition, marketing, and leasing.
          • Research and evaluate commercial and/or residential real estate conditions.
          • Research market trends and statistics to forecast immediate futures within the industry and determine the best use of cash according to a company's goals.
          • Perform due diligence to broker real estate deals and interact with sellers and buyers in the commercial sector.
          • Visit properties and sites to meet with sellers and buyers and to decide if it fits the firm’s needs and criteria.
          • Help negotiate related deals and transactions by drawing up and gathering necessary paperwork and forms.
          • Assist Investment Associate as they meet with stakeholders regularly to ensure we continue to meet our needs and to identify future opportunities.
